IPR Cell

This Cell at IIHT Jodhpur has been formed to create awareness about Intellectual Property Rights that include patents, copyrights, trade Marks, Design Registration, Plant Variety, Trade Secrets and Geographical Indications. The IPR Cell will provide a basic knowledge of geographical indication, IPR, patent concepts and the procedure of filling the patents at the national & international levels. The IPR Cell will also advise staff/students/research scholars about trademarks, Copyrights, Brand names, etc.

Objectives of the Cell

• To provide IPRs protection information, orientation, and facilities to staff/students/researchers
• To guide & advise staff/students/researchers on how to obtain & sustain patents and help them approach the patent information Centre.
• To organize various IPR awareness programmes.
