LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (LDC)
This committee will recommend suggestions and ideas for the complete development of the library and will have the following functions.
- To guide the Librarian in framing general library policies and regulations for the effective functioning of the library
- To formulate procedures for efficient use of Library resources.
- To provide proper documentation services and update the library collection.
- To work towards modernization & improvement of Library and Documentation Services.
- To review the library readership section-wise and adopt measures to enhance readership
- To prepare a budget and proposals for the development of the library.
- To seek feedback on Library functions from the students and submit a periodical report on the overall functioning of the library
- To periodically review the functioning of the library and its activities, conduct meetings, and submit reports to the administration.
